2.1 Live 4D Data Display
4D Data Displays bring data to life. As public displays, they capture attention and provide the audience with a visceral experience of your information. Within your organization, they transmit living information to business partners, and open employee’s eyes to whole new ways of thinking, knowledge acquisition, and decision-making.
4D data models are main content element of the 4D Data Displays. They are spatial visualizations of multiple data streams – dynamic objects on a screen – that reveal patterns and trends of massive amounts of real time data on the fly. The data models are custom designed by an expert team of knowledge architects, information designers, software engineers, graphic and motion designers, and selected domain experts.

The Evolving Screen is a high tech media installation developed by Unified Field for lobbies and other public spaces.
The Evolving Screen is a sophisticated communication tool that engages the viewer in a visual conversation. High performance computers generate self-transforming environments that unite multiple media forms into a seamless, ever changing vision of your company.
Meta-information design: Flexible templates and macro-level rules generate combinations of multi-media content and 4D models. Each screen shows a different perspective on the information and different blends of ideas.
Environment design: Information is displayed in a series of virtual worlds (environments) that change based on live data streams. The environments add depth, motion, and a sense of immediacy to the information display. Sophisticated graphic design ties all of the screen elements together into a seamless whole.
The Evolving Screen creates a unique experience of information through the convergence of art, technology, and communication. It is a new art form that transforms public spaces into living architecture.

Multi-media elements for the Evolving Screen™ may include movies, text, images, real time news and data feeds, and data-driven 4D models. Evolving Screen™ can be shown on displays ranging from a single plasma screen to large-scale rear projection systems or LCD arrays.

Training Center Lobby
Unified Field was hired by a major financial institution to build a 4D visual information environment for its Training Center lobby. The display serves three functions: As a training tool, a recruiting/retention tool, and an architectural design element. As a training tool, it acquaints employees with new models of financial market data that reveal relationships and patterns in huge data sets. As a recruiting/retention tool, it illustrates the company’s commitment to innovation and technological excellence. As an architectural element, it is a graceful form that manages traffic flow and balances the space. Unified Field provided an end-to-end solution, including both 4D visual design & programming, and exhibit design & installation.
Executive Suite Lobby
The client, major investment bank, wanted to make a dramatic statement about the company in the entryway to the executive suite. Management wanted a live display, but felt that traditional video walls and stock ticker displays were overdone and impersonal. Unified Field successfully proposed a 4D visual information environment that combines real-time feeds from global financial markets with internal company data (both historical data and live feeds from company databases.) The 4D environment is displayed on a seamless, 15’ wall with a rear projection system and an edge-blended image.
